WHY DID THE REVOLUTION HAPPEN??!!

Well, here's a flipbook on those causes to show you!

Three main causes for the Revolution included:

1. Taxes (but who does'nt argue over them?!)
Disagreements over Texas having to pay Mexico a tax were a spurr of the Revolution

2. Slavery- Mexico had a law in order prohibiting slavery, but Texas (expecting Mexico to be like America), insisted on keeping their slaves.

3. As like in the second reason, Texans expected Mexico to be just like America, which lead to misunderstandings, and in turn helped cause the Texas Revolution.
